After Effects Folder Duplicator

I've always struggled with versioning and dating my compositions. Constantly forgetting to duplicate before making big changes. And when I have folders with lots of compositions, it takes a lot of time to duplicate and rename.

I just want to be able to duplicate and continue working without much friction. Insure I know which version I'm working on and not losing my progress.

I used ClaudeAI to build a dockable button which allows me to select a folder and duplicate it. During that duplication, the script does 2 things:

• Adds the current date
• Adds a version number

It's not perfect, but it gets the job done.

NO more continuing to edit and realizing you're on the wrong composition.

NO more forgetting to duplicate your compositions at the beginning of the day to keep your progress.
